East Park

EAST PARK: 449 Cherokee Trail Directions: from Ellington Road Gate, after you enter gate go up hill and at stop sign turn right onto Spindrift Ct, this road dead ends into East Park. East Park is a very nice tent camping park. There are twenty-nine tent sites with each having a picnic table and a fire ring. This is the 'shadiest' park inside CRRA which makes it a hit for picnic lunches on hot days. There is a pavilion large enough for family reunions, picnic tables, swings, playground, and basket ball court. The road around the park also makes a nice walking trail. It is right on the river and gives several options for fun with the kids.
